A contemporary approach of design for the remodel and renovation of an existing synagogue right in the heart of West Hollywood. Natural Jerusalem stones with Star of David carvings articulates the main circulation of the synagogue and allows natural light to fill and lit the double-height ceiling courtyard and prayer room.
The combination of voids and solids, light intrusions and shadows, define the geometry of the façade and differentiate the various program spaces the religious edifice has to offer.
