330 Formosa Avenue
Los Angeles, California
This house was designed around water ponds and courtyards to create geometries that blur the exterior-interior boundary. As you approach the home, you will find an imposing wall waterfall that leads to a double height entry door and hall. An exotic courtyard with a comfortable seating area interrupts the interior space to provide for landscape views and natural lighting. As we move along towards the end of the house, an outstanding water pond with suspended fire pit bowls, divide the formal space into two wings, with full bay windows and pocket doors disappearing into the walls to lead to the rear garden.
